    Description

    Mysterious Doctor Satan (Republic, 1940). One Sheets (2) (27" X 41") Chapter 1 -- "Return of the Copperhead" and Chapter 5 -- "Doctor Satan's Man of Steel."
    Doctor Satan (Eduardo Ciannelli) is a mad scientist who plots to wreak havoc with his army of robots. The original hero for this serial was to be Superman, but when DC Comics backed out, the writers came up with the "Copperhead" character, played by Robert Wilcox, who saves the day. Heritage presents for the first time posters for Chapter 5 and Chapter 1 (chip top left corner, extra vertical folds, stain right border, pinholes, and small tears in the top border with cellophane tape on the verso). Great finds for serial buffs! From the David L. Daniels Collection. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
