Offered here is a rare cloth banner for Dick Tracy vs Crime Inc. This Republic Pictures serial starred Ralph Byrd as Chester Gould's square-jawed detective. In the story, Dick Tracy battles a mysterious villain known as "The Ghost," who uses advanced technology to commit crimes and evade capture. Filled with car chases, shootouts, and cliffhangers, the serial exemplifies early 1940s pulp adventure filmmaking. Its combination of comic-strip heroics and sci-fi gadgetry helped define the detective's enduring image in popular culture. The banner has its corners sewn back and equipped with metal grommets for ease of hanging. It exhibits foxing and some staining throughout. The colors remain vibrant.
