    Offered in this lot are the January 1933, April and May 1935, and June, July, August, September, and October of 1938 issues of the fabulous Screen Romances magazine, featuring fantastic cover pieces by artist F. Early Christy of Loretta Young, Dick Powell and Priscilla Lane, Alice Faye and Tyrone Power in Alexander's Ragtime Band, James Cagney and Baby Clark, and Norma Shearer in Marie Antoinette, and cover pieces of Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell in Tess of Storm Country, Irene Dunne, and Anna Sten and Gary Cooper in The Wedding Night. The magazines also include all sorts of vintage advertisements, glorious photo-spreads, thrilling fictionizations, and thought-provoking articles on all your favorite Hollywood movies and stars, such as Hot Saturday with Cary Grant and Nancy Carroll, Rasputin with Lionel Barrymore, After Office Hours with Constance Bennett and Clark Gable, Reckless with Jean Harlow and William Powell, The Bride of Frankenstein with Boris Karloff, The Devil is a Woman with Marlene Dietrich, How Am I Doin' with Mae West, You Can't Take it With You with Jean Arthur, James Stewart, and Lionel Barrymore, Katharine Hepburn, Little Miss Broadway with Shirley Temple, Four's a Crowd with Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, and Rosalind Russell, Carefree with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and many, many more. Unrestored magazines with good color and overall very presentable appearances. They may have edge or spine wear, slight spine separations, creases, minor paper loss, very small tears, minute paper lifts, surface scuffs, smudging, light toning, or mild stains. The January 1933 issue has cellophane tape on the spine and verso, as well as ink stamp on the front cover. Several of the magazines have pencil or ink writing on the front covers and on some pages.
