This lot consists of a pair of German lobby cards from Fritz Lang genre classics including one from Woman in the Moon and one from Spies. Country-of-origin original release material is scarce from either film, and both served a foundational roll in their respective genres. Woman in the Moon is significant for its visionary depiction of space travel, pioneering realistic rocket science in cinema and directly influencing future generations of science fiction filmmakers and engineers. Spies paved the way for future films like the James Bond series with its innovative blend of espionage, suspense, and expressionist visual style, helping to establish the modern thriller and influencing cinematic techniques for tension and narrative complexity.
