Description

Things to Come (United Artists, R-1947). Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14").
H.G. Wells' meditation on the future of the human race was one of the most spectacular films of its day, with Raymond Massey and Cedric Hardwicke in the leads. William Cameron Menzies, famed as an art director and production designer, was the director, and Wells himself penned the screenplay. Offered here is the re-issue lobby card set featuring many of the film's stunning vistas. Five cards have pinholes, while the title card has corner creases, edge wear, and small tears; various other cards have small edge tears, corner bumps, a punch-hole, and smudging. From the Collection of Wade Williams. Fine/Very Fine.
