Giant ants invade the New Mexico desert in this classic science fiction creature feature, starring James Arness, James Whitmore, Edmund Gwenn, and Joan Weldon. The film was an unexpected hit for Warner Brothers, who were nervous about the production, and made last minute budget-cuts that prevented it from being shot in color and 3-D. Viewers with sharp eyes may be able to catch a glimpse of a very young Leonard Nimoy, who makes an uncredited appearance as an Air Force sergeant in the film. A favorite amongst sci-fi collectors, the insert has light edge wear, some smudging in the lower credit area, a small tear in the left border and upper border, a horizontal crease in the upper border, a horizontal crease near the upper fold, a small bend in the upper left corner, and some fold wear.
