Description
The War of the Worlds (Paramount, 1953). Window Card (14" X 22").George Pal produced this updated version of H.G. Wells' classic novel, infused it with state-of-the-art special effects, and distributed some of the most fantastic sci-fi movie posters to date. Emerging from the heavens, an alien "claw" menaces the horrified humans, seemingly about to pluck them from their earthy existence. Fine color saturation and condition will keep this window card in high demand. Some small stains in the imprint area, faint toning at the edges, horizontal center crease, and creasing in the imprint area are the condition issues of note. Fine+.
