The Empire Strikes Back (20th Century Fox, 1980). Poster (30" X 40") Style A.
This gorgeous poster by Rodger Kastel is often referred to as the "Gone With the Wind" style, as it resembles the 1967 re-release one sheet from the film. Due to a dispute with Billy Dee Williams over his image being absent from the poster, these style A items were only used for a short time before being pulled. Additionally, fewer 30" by 40" posters were made than their one sheet counterparts, making this piece harder to find. The poster has a small crease near the bottom border, and very light edge wear along the left border. From the collection of John L. Williams, noted Star Wars collector. Rolled, Very Fine+.
