The Deadly Mantis (Universal International, 1957). Folded, Very Fine. Six Sheet (78" X 79.5").
Starring Craig Stevens, William Hopper, Alix Talton, Donald Randolph, Pat Conway, Florenz Ames, Paul Smith, Phil Harvey, Floyd Simmons, Paul Campbell, Helen Jay, Keith Aldrich, William A. Forester, Paul Frees. Directed by Nathan Juran. An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance.
The top left section has small splits at the bottom center, bottom right and the center right crossfolds. There are small tears and tiny chips along the bottom portion of the center vertical fold, as well as tiny chips and small paper losses to the the bottom half of the right fold.
The top right section has only two small splits at the center crossfold and the crossfold to the right, as well as a small bit of wear or minute tears along the right vertical fold in the bottom portion.
The lower left section has a soft diagonal crease to the bottom left corner and the lower right section has only a soft diagonal crease to the bottom right corner.
The poster looks amazing and will be a fantastic addition to any classic science fiction collection. Printed in four panels as issued. From the Larry K. Springer Collection
