    Description

    Tarantula (Universal International, 1955). Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14").
Leo G. Carroll, as Professor Gerald Deemer, has been administering some highly suspicious experiments at his desert laboratory, which results in two dead assistants and a mutant tarantula that has been injected with a serum that causes it to grow to astronomical and horrifying proportions. John Agar stars as Dr. Matt Hastings, a physician who, along with scientist Stephanie Clayton (Mara Corday) attempts to discover what is behind all the carnage in their small town. Each card of this great set has stains in the top portion of the card and left border, and two cards have a small piece of cellophane tape at the top. A campy cult classic, this title remains one of the most popular of the era, and these great cards showcase all the fun horror. Very Good/Fine.
