Star Wars Uncut Trading Card Sheets (Topps, 1977-1980). Topps Uncut Trading Card Sheets (1) (28.25" X 43"), and (3) (22" X 28.5"). Science Fiction.
What a terrific lot! Four original, Topps, uncut trading card sheets of Star Wars cards. The first item is a premium poster of an uncut sheet containing all 66 of the original first series cards. The poster is printed on slick, thin paper, with nothing on the verso. The poster has pinholes, border wear with some small tears, and some minor crinkles and creases. The second item is a complete sheet, as it came off the printing line, printed on both sides, with two complete sets of Series 2 (red border). This sheet is unique in that, since it is uncut, you get a complete poster image of both a Tuscan Raider and Chewbacca on the verso. You may remember, if you collected as a youngster in 1977, trying to get those last few card numbers to complete the puzzle of both these characters was always very tough! This sheet has some mild edge wear with small tears, and some minor crinkles and creases. The third and fourth items are two uncut sheets for the first series of The Empire Strikes Back, comprising an entire set on the two pages. These sheets have two horizontal, lengthwise creases on one of the sheets, and both have small crinkles and creases. Unrestored card sheets that display signs of use. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. From the collection of the late John L. Williams, noted Star Wars collector. Fine/Very Fine.
