The seventh installment in the young-reader novel series for Star Wars: The Last of the Jedi, Judy Blundell (Jude Watson) authored this edition titled The Last of the Jedi #7: Secret Weapon published by Scholastic Books in 2006 as part of a 10 book series. Set in the fictional spin off Star Wars Legends, in the period between the end of Star Wars: Episode III- The Revenge of the Sith and a few years before Episode IV: A New Hope the series follows Obi-Wan Kenobi in the events after Revenge of the Sith until he finds ex-Padawan Ferus Olin. Scholastic Books has published over 25 Star Wars books for younger readers and commissioned Hollywood poster legend Drew Struzan to illustrate the cover art for 5 entries in this series. This exceedingly rare piece is a must for Struzan enthusiasts, perhaps the only one of its kind featuring illustrations of Ferus Olin, Darth Vader, Storm Troopers and a looming Grand Moff Tarkin. In near mint condition, the painting shows only subtle indications of tape placement removed in the top border.
