Presented for the first time by Heritage, this exceptionally rare South African one sheet for Star Wars showcases the iconic Tom Jung artwork, capturing the timeless excitement of a saga that began "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away." The most notable feature of this poster is the Ster-Kinekor emblem at the lower left of the credits block, South Africa's largest film exhibitor. We can locate only one other example of this poster ever to appear at auction, underscoring its extraordinary scarcity. Poster exhibits edge and fold wear, some creases, smudges and scuffs, fold/crossfold separation, border tears, a missing bottom left corner, stains and tape stains, and light toning.
