Star Wars (20th Century Fox, 1977). One Sheet (27" X 41") Mylar Advance.Prior to the release of what would become one of the most lucrative films of all time, 20th Century Fox was a bit apprehensive about George Lucas' Star Wars. Their fears were laid to rest upon the opening of the film, as it smashed box office records, and made household names of stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford. The film would go on to spawn two sequels and three prequels, with additional continuations on the horizon. Offered here is a stellar mylar advance one sheet for the film. Printed in 1976, this piece features a title design that would be changed for all posters to follow, making this a truly rare and collectible item. There are only very minor creases, and light handling wear. Rolled, Very Fine+.
