    Description

    Star Tours (Disney, 1986 & 1987). Presskit (9" X 12") & Posters (2) (18" X 24" & 20" X 30"). From the collection of the late John L. Williams, noted Star Wars collector.
Disneyland offered patrons "The Ultimate Star Wars Adventure!" with the motion simulator attraction, Star Tours. Guests would take on the role of a space tourist on their way to the forest moon of Endor, encountering exciting moments that include getting caught in a comet cluster, and the tractor beam of a Star Destroyer. Providing voices for the attraction were the likes of Anthony Daniels, Paul Reubens, and Warwick Davis. Included in this lot are terrific items from the ride, such as an original presskit from the attraction, which has information on how the ride came to be, an "in-flight magazine for intergalactic travelers," photos, and Disneyland brochures. Included are two original posters. The smaller of the two is from the initial opening, and features artwork by Tim Delaney. The other poster, by Richard Kriegler, is from the following year. The posters are in fantastic condition, and the presskit shows only some wear on the cover. Rolled, Very Fine/Near Mint. From the collection of the late John L. Williams, noted Star Wars collector.
