    Description

Return of the Jedi (20th Century Fox, 1983). Rolled, Near Mint-. One Sheets (50) Identical (27" X 41") with Original Blue Harvest Box (28.5" X 4.5" X 4.5"). Style A, Tim Reamer Artwork.
By 1983, the Star Wars franchise had one of the largest fanbases in Hollywood history, with sci-fi enthusiasts and journalists desperate for any and all information about the trilogy's much anticipated finale. In order to protect the project from potential leaks to the press and price gouging from greedy suppliers, 20th Century Fox used the fake title Blue Harvest to throw the overly curious off of the film's scent. With a tagline bragging "Horror Beyond Imagination!" and even a faux moniker for director George Lucas himself, the studio emblazoned the misleading information on all invoices, crew jackets, and shipping materials. Such is the case for the box included with this massive roll of unused Style A one sheets, a rare find for collectors as many of the shipping boxes were stolen by theater employees soon after their arrival. Only the most minor wear can be found on the posters, stemming from light handling, such as a few faint stains and minute tears. The Blue Harvest box is likewise in good condition and has normal wear for typical shipping and handling. Rolled, Near Mint-.
