Not previously offered in Heritage's history, this stunning six sheet for the epic conclusion to the original Star Wars trilogy, Return of the Jedi, is a true rarity. The artwork, created by acclaimed illustrator Kazuhiko Sano, captures the film's climactic themes of redemption and rebellion through striking portraits of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia, all framed beneath the looming presence of Darth Vader. Measuring on a grand cinematic scale, the poster showcases Sano's distinctive painterly style, blending realism and fantasy to convey the film's emotional and visual power. Due to its limited production and large format, this six sheet is extremely scarce; by the time of the original Star Wars trilogy, the format had largely fallen out of use, making this one of the most sought-after first-release American posters. Impressively preserved, it displays only minor edge and fold wear, pinholes, creases, and small crossfold separations. Please note that while the National Posters Inc. stamp on the verso reads "6-10-93," this is a typo and this example is obviously from the original 1983 release. Comes in four panels as originally issued.
