Invaders from Mars (20th Century Fox, 1953). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41").
In Invaders from Mars, a young boy sees a flying saucer land near his home, but no one believes him. He gradually realizes that townspeople, including his own parents, are being mind-controlled by aliens plotting to conquer Earth. The film amplifies childhood fears and authority distrust, reflecting the era's Cold War paranoia about infiltration, subversion, and hidden enemies. Its combination of intimate domestic terror with science fiction spectacle makes it a key example of 1950s paranoia-driven sci-fi, where external threats mirror societal anxieties. Folded as issued, the poster exhibits some corner and edge creasing, a tear in the upper right border, pinholes, fold wear and bunching, black paint in the border at lower right and smudges at lower left. Unrestored, the poster presents well.
