Godzilla (Trans World, 1956). Folded, Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41").
This giant monster film played on the world's atomic fears and started a craze for massive Japanese Kaiju that are still in high demand today. Directed by Ishiro Honda, with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya, the film was reworked for American audiences to include scenes with Raymond Burr. It's easy to see why this incredibly popular one sheet for the U.S. release is always in high demand, as the poster features a magnificent image of the towering Godzilla (Gojira in Japan) laying waste to everything in his path. This Godzilla one sheet has the brightest and richest color we've ever seen. There are pinholes (with one torn at the top) and light fold wear.
