Barbarella (Paramount, 1968). Rolled, Fine. Poster (40" X 60").
This gaudy space spoof stars Jane Fonda as an interstellar agent in search of a missing scientist named Durand Durand. The epic supporting cast includes John Phillip Law, Ugo Tognazzi, Marcel Marceau, and Anita Pallenberg. Not many theatres opted to spend the extra money for an oversized poster of a scantily clad woman in front of a pop art background, making this a scarce treat. This psychedelic poster screams "1960s!" and is a top icon of the whole "do your own thing" era. Prior to restoration it had edge wear, creasing, a couple of tears, and small chips. There was visible are unobtrusive stains and some color fading. These issue have all been beautifully corrected.
