Description

Back to the Future (Universal, 1985). Very Fine+ on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41"). Drew Struzan Artwork.
Teenager Marty McFly is accidentally sent back to 1955 in a DeLorean time machine built by his eccentric friend, Doc Brown. Stranded in the past, Marty disrupts his parents' first meeting, risking his own existence. He must repair the timeline, get his awkward teen parents to fall in love, and find a way to return to the future. Writers Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale co-wrote the script. Gale was inspired after finding his father's high school yearbook and wondering if he'd have been friends with him as a teen. The team pitched the script over 40 times before Universal Pictures finally picked it up and it eventually became a big hit, earning almost $400,000,000.00 during it theatrical release and spawning two sequels. Backed to linen, there have been a few minute spots of touch-up in the image area and a minute bit to the 'A' of Back in the title; additionally, the borders have been airbrushed. Thanks to these efforts, the poster displays wonderfully and is sure to please.
