2001: A Space Odyssey (MGM, 1968 & R-1974). Photos (28) (8" X 10"). Science Fiction.
Vintage gelatin silver, single weight, glossy photos and black and white photos. Starring Keir Dullea, Gary Lockwood, William Sylvester, Daniel Richter, Leonard Rossiter, Margaret Tyzack, and Douglas Rain. Directed by Stanley Kubrick. This lot consists of nineteen photos from the original 1968 release and nine photos from the 1974 re-release. Unrestored photos with a clean overall appearance. They may have general signs of use, such as light edge wear, corner bumps, small smudges or stains, or very minor tears. Fourteen of the photos from the 1968 release have blue studio notes on the verso, which have light bleedthrough into the image areas. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details.
