    Description

Scarlet Street (Universal, 1945). Argentinean Two Sheet (53" X 39").
German director Fritz Lang helped develop the post-war movement in America that would come to be known as film noir. In this sordid tale, naive Edward G. Robinson falls for a beautiful young woman (Joan Bennett) who cons him into using his money to support her. Dan Duryea plays the woman's real boyfriend who puts her up to the scam. Sold for the first time at Heritage, this Argentinean poster shows pinholes in the borders and interiors, slight creasing, small chips and tears in the borders, and faint toning. There are some small tears and bits of paper loss in the image. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.

    Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
