Today We Live (MGM, 1933). Six Sheet (81" X 81").
This film marked the beginning of a friendship last would last many years between writer William Faulkner and director Howard Hawks. To earn money and support his wife Estelle and their three children, Faulkner wrote a screenplay from his short story "Turn About." The resulting film starred some of Hollywood's biggest stars including Gary Cooper and Joan Crawford and was centered around Hawk's favorite subjects, war and romance. This beautiful and rare six sheet is the only surviving copy that we are aware of and has small areas of paper loss in the crossfolds that are relatively minor. Very Fine- on Linen.
