    Description

The Talk of the Town (Columbia, 1942). Insert (14" X 36"). George Stevens directed this fast-paced, witty comedy about political activist Leopold Dilg (Cary Grant), who is jailed for arson and murder. Grant escapes and hides out in the home of childhood sweetheart Nora Shelley (Jean Arthur), which she has just rented to unsuspecting law professor Michael Lightcap (Ronald Colman). Grant and Arthur persuade stuffy Colman that Grant was framed, and he helps them solve the mystery.
