The Flame of New Orleans (Universal, 1941). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Directed with the comic skills of Rene Clair, Marlene Dietrich portrays a woman with too many suitors, who must become two different women to take care of them all in this romantic hit from 1941. Dietrich was never more beautiful than on this poster with artwork by the legendary pinup master Alberto Vargas. Restoration has addressed pinholes in the borders, a chip in the bottom right corner and bottom horizontal fold, and touchup has been applied to fold wear and small paper loss at the cross folds. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
