DescriptionThe Clock (MGM, 1945). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Judy Garland's future husband, Vincente Minnelli, directed her in The Clock -- her first dramatic, non-singing role. She stars opposite Robert Walker in this romantic film about a soldier who spends his two days of leave touring New York with a young woman he's just met. Garland and Walker look absolutely made for each other in this clock-bordered image where she is seen leaning over his shoulder. Before restoration, this poster showed mild fold wear, pinholes into the interior, and some misfolds with tears at the top. There was a chip in the lower right corner, and a small bit of ink stamp bleedthrough is still slightly visible in the left white background. Very Fine- on Linen.
Estimate: $400 - $800.
