    Lorna Doone & Other Lot (Associated First National Pictures, 1922). Title Lobby Cards (2) & Lobby Cards (3) (11" X 14" & 11" X 13").
A love story adapted to film time and time again, this particular iteration of Lorna Doone stars Madge Bellamy in the title role, with John Bowers playing the valiant love interest. Also featured in this lot is a the title card and a lobby card for Maurice Tourneur and Clarence Brown's 1920 spiritual prison drama, The Great Redeemer. Tinted with bright, well-preserved colors, the title card and one of the scene cards for Lorna Doone have pinholes in the corners. The other scene card has rounded corners with corner bumps, a stain in the left border, and a couple of minor tears, one of which has a piece of cellophane tape on the verso. The black and white title card for The Great Redeemer has a few small tears, a bottom left corner chip, and bits of surface paper loss near the lower right corner. There are surface scuffs in the interior with some light touchup, and there is a piece of cellophane tape on the verso. The tinted lobby card for The Great Redeemer has edge wear, bits of paper loss at the edges, surface paper loss in the borders, and horizontal creases. There are also a few tears in the borders, a couple of which extend into the outer background and have cellophane tape on the front and verso. Overall Grade: Very Fine-.
