    Description

The Troubadour by Earl Newman (1964). Screen Print Poster (23" X 35"). Rock and Roll.
For over 50 years, artist Earl Newman has produced beautiful silk screen prints that appear at Jazz Festivals and Art shows all over the world. This amazing image representing the famous Troubadour nightclub is no exception, with its image of three performers. The West Hollywood nightclub played an important role in the careers of many performers such as Elton John, The Eagles, The Byrds, Bonnie Raitt, Fleetwood Mac, Rod Stewart, Bruce Springsteen, and Billy Joel, just to name a few. Today, the venue is known for its emerging UK artists such as Radiohead, Coldplay, and Arctic Monkeys. An unrestored silk screen print poster that displays signs of use. May include slight edge wear, corner bends, tears, very minor staining in the borders, smudging, and some surface scuffing and/or blemishes. Archival and masking tape on the verso. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
