    Description

    The T.A.M.I. Show (American International, 1964). One Sheet (27" X 41").
On October 28 and 29 of 1964, high school students packed the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium to catch popular acts that included The Beach Boys, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, The Supremes, Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, James Brown and the Flames and more. The best footage from both days was compiled for this upbeat concert film. Most notable was the performance by James Brown, which featured his over the top energy and wicked dance moves. The routine was so good that Keith Richards would go on to say following Brown was the biggest mistake of the Stones' career, as there was no way they could top him. The poster, which features images of all performers, shows light edge wear at the right border, a small tear in the right edge, and some creasing in the lower border. Folded, Very Fine.
