The Rock Machine Turns You On & Other Lot (Columbia Records, 1968). Record Poster (23.25" X 35.75") & Standee (22" X 34"). Rock and Roll.
In 1968, Columbia Records launched a new marketing campaign as a means to promote the label's expanding rosters or rock and folk performers, called The Rock Machine. This new sampler album was bargain priced and affordable to all, at the time, and offered hits from Bob Dylan, The Peanut Butter Conspiracy, Tim Rose, Moby Grape, Taj Mahal, The Byrds, and Simon and Garfunkel, to name a few. Also included is a standee for Liberty Records and their line of 4 and 8-Track Stereo-Tapes for such musicians as Julie London, The Ventures, Ricky Nelson, Fats Domino, and Slim Whitman. Unrestored items with overall presentable appearances. They may have slight edge and fold wear, corner bumps, smudges, some surface scuffs, unobtrusive stains, and the standee may show very minor color fading. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Folded, Fine+.
