    Description

Taj Mahal at Gardens Auditorium (Great Shows/CKLG, 1971). Autographed Concert Poster (14" X 22"). Rock and Roll.
With a style that mixes different genres like reggae and calypso into his own personal sound, two time Grammy winner Taj Mahal was instrumental in redefining the sound of the Blues over the course of the 60's and 70's. Watts 103rd St. Rhythm Band also left its own musical mark on the 1970s, with memorable funk hits like "Express Yourself" and "Do Your Thing" that still retain popularity to this day. An unrestored poster that displays signs of use. May include edge wear, creases, tears, pinholes, surface scuffs, or unobtrusive stains and smudges. The poster is signed, "To David Guest! (sic) A serious music lover and a saint! Love & Peace, From Taj Mahal, 00-." Heritage believes the autograph to be authentic, but know before bidding that no Certificate of Authenticity is provided. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Artwork by Masse Matheson. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
