    Description

Joan Baez, The Grateful Dead at the Mt. Tamaipais Outdoor Theater (1970s). Reprint Concert Poster (14" X 20"). Rock and Roll.
Offered is a reprint concert poster which promoted the congressional campaign of candidate Phil Drath, who was a staunch anti-war supporter. Artists such as Joan Baez, Mimi Farino, The Grateful Dead, and Quick Silver Messenger Service performed. The event had two speakers: Ed Keating and Don Duncan. Mouse Studios (Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley) utilizes the iconic children's character Winnie the Pooh, and portray Pooh and Piglet walking towards the setting sun. The poster also has a drawing of Pooh on each corner, and an excerpt from the books in the lower border. This reprint poster is missing the original printing company credits in the lower border. An unrestored concert poster with a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as slight edge wear, corner bends, and small tears. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Rolled, Very Fine.
