    Description

Jefferson Airplane Takes Off (RCA, R-1973). Autographed Vinyl Record LSP-3584 (12.25" X 12.5"). Rock and Roll.
Featuring the debut album (albeit a 1973 reissue) of the rock band Jefferson Airplane with 11 tracks on two sides. Notable tracks include "Tobacco Road," Let's Get Together," and "Chauffeur Blues." This reissue vinyl record is noted for its beige label on the vinyl record itself. The record sleeve is unchanged from its original printing (included the "Dynagroove" credit which is not included on the vinyl record sticker). An unrestored vinyl record with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. The record is in excellent condition and does not appear to have been used. The record sleeve has edge and spine wear, spine separations, corner bends, smudges, surface scuffs, writing on the back, minor surface indentions, and chips in the spine. There is an 8" separation along the upper sleeve spine. The record sleeve is signed on the cover (from left to right) "Marty Balin," "Grace Slick," "Spencer Dryden," "Jack Casady," "Paul Kantner," and "Jorma Kaukonen." Heritage Auctions believes that the autographs in this lot are authentic, but know before bidding that no Certificate of Authenticity is provided. Please see full-color, enlargeable image above for more details. Fine+.
