    Description

    Festival Express (Eaton-Walker Associates, 1970). Concert Program (16 Pages, 8.25" X 11.25") & Newspaper Style Promo (4 pages, 11.25" X 16.75"). Rock and Roll.
An original program and newspaper style promotional item from the legendary Festival Express Canadian concert tour, featuring The Band, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, Buddy Guy Blues Band, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Sha Na Na, Delaney & Bonnie & Friends, and others. The concert, which was also known as the Transcontinental Pop Festival, was staged in Toronto, Winnipeg, and Calgary; with the performers traveling to each venue by Canadian National Railways. There was a documentary made about the event in 2003, also titled Festival Express. An unrestored program and newspaper style promo with a clean overall appearance. They may have general signs of use, such as slight fold separation and fold wear, spine and edge wear, small corner bumps, light toning, or very minor tears. The program's covers have separated three inches from the bottom of the spine up. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Very Fine-.
