    Description

Country Joe McDonald in Provo Park, Berkeley (Fantasy Records, 1978). Fine/Very Fine. Autographed Berkeley Centennial Concert Window Card (14" X 22"). Rock and Roll.
Offered in this lot is a fantastic autographed concert window card celebrating the city of Berkeley, California's centennial year at Provo Park in 1978. There would be no better way to honor the city, than with two fantastic bands that were both founded in Berkeley themselves: Country Joe McDonald famous for his 1965 anti-Vietnam War song "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die Rag," and the one-of-a-kind female-fronted rock band, Joy of Cooking, known for their 1971 hit single "Brownsville." An unrestored window card that displays signs of use. May include slight edge wear, soft rippling, a few creases, small tears and paper lifts, some smudges and stains including foxing, or toning. The card has been signed by Country Joe McDonald and Barry Melton. Heritage Auctions believes that the autographed item in this lot is authentic, but know before bidding that no Certificate of Authenticity is provided.
