    Description

    Churubusco Live-In (Fest-I-Rama, 1970). Concert Festival Poster (17.75" X 27.5"). Rock and Roll.
Following in the footsteps of Woodstock, in the small town known as Churubusco, a new music festival was taking form for Memorial Day weekend in 1970. Signed to appear that weekend included Chuck Berry, Steppenwolf, Bo Diddley, Grand Funk Railroad, 3 Dog Night, Sly and the Family Stone, B.B. King, and Canned Heat. However, the city officials at Churubusco were against the idea of over 200,000 fans descending upon its town, and national news was made when the town passed several ordinances which, in the end, caused the concert to be canceled. A partially restored concert poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have slight edge and fold wear, creases, tears, pinholes, paper lifts, smudges, unobtrusive stains, and an upper right corner chip. Noticeable restoration efforts have addressed many of these issues. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Fine+ on Linen.
