Beatles Life Magazine Newsstand Poster (Life Magazine, 1967). Newsstand Poster (26.25" X 32.5").
The Beatles ruled the airwaves and dominated the media when the July 24, 1967 issue of Life magazine (Asian Edition) hit the stands. With a portrait of the Fab Four gracing the cover, the publishers knew they'd have a "Sell out" on their hands. This poster was created by the publishers as a point-of-purchase advertisement that the issue was now on sale. Posters from this sort of advertising are extremely hard to come by as most were thrown away shortly after display. 1967 was the year of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and influential albums The Beatles and Abbey Road would be released soon after. This poster has touchup to the folds and light creases through John and Paul's heads. Very Fine- on Linen.
