    Description

    Roberta (RKO, 1935). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Although the plot of the film would make you believe the stars were Irene Dunne and Randolph Scott, the real stars were the dancing team of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The movie was an RKO spectacle, with Parisian fashion, stunning jewels, musical numbers and dance sequences that would make audiences forget their troubles and dream of a better life. This beautiful title card features the film's stars at their best! Touchup has been applied to scattered pinholes, a bit of paper loss in the upper background, and the borders have been airbrushed. The card once showed a diagonal streak of staining, which has been professionally corrected with additional touchup to part of the title, the upper right image, and the lower left image. The card still has some surface rippling from the initial staining but with the professional restoration looks very presentable. Fine-.
