    Description

RKO Pathe' Exhibitor's Personality Book (RKO Pathe', 1931). Exhibitor's Book (11" X 15", Multiple Pages).
This fabulous book from RKO Pathe' promotes the biggest stars in the studio's stable, and their upcoming projects. This book is one of the most spectacular created by a studio for selling their female stars! There are four women shown in full-color, double foldout pages. They include Constance Bennett, Ann Harding, Helen Twelvetrees, and Ina Claire. These are printed on a heavy weight paper and feature artwork by Walter Seaton. Also of particular note are ads for Suicide Fleet which starred future Hopalong Cassidy stars, William Boyd and Ginger Rogers, Rebound with Ina Claire and Myrna Loy, and Common Law starring Constance Bennett and Joel McCrea. While the hardcover is covered in an Art-Deco patterned foil, it shows signs of heavy wear and crumbling, there is a stamped name on the inside binding, and the interior pages are clean and feature stunning period artwork. There is wear along the spine as well. Fine+.
