Description

RKO Exhibitor Book (RKO, 1933-1934). (Multiple Pages, 11" X 14").
From the looks of this terrific exhibitor book, RKO was exceptionally proud of their upcoming 1933-1934 slate of films, and with good reason! Within these colorful pages can be found gorgeous spreads trumpeting the future release of such classic films as Son of Kong and Flying Down to Rio, a promotion for a never-filmed (until the 1950s) version of Green Mansions with Dolores Del Rio, and even a promotion for the premiere of the new three-strip Technicolor process, presenting "the warmth of flesh and blood pulsating with life and color!" There are very small stains, light smudging, and some surface scuffs on the covers, and the spine shows minor wear. There is a stamp on the inside of the front cover, some separation and a small chip in the upper right corner of the foldout of the Son of Kong spread, a separation on the Technicolor process page, and some of the interior pages show slight edge wear, faint smudges, and small corner bumps. The A Rafter Romance page is missing. Fine+.
