RKO Exhibitor Book (RKO, 1933-1934). Book (Multiple Pages, 11" X 14").
From one glance at this incredible pressbook promoting RKO's 1933-1934 season, it's clear that the studio was exceptionally proud of their upcoming productions. And with good reason. Within these colorful pages can be found gorgeous spreads trumpeting the future release of such classic films as Son of Kong and Flying Down to Rio, a promotion for a never-filmed (until the 1950s) version of Green Mansions with Dolores Del Rio, and even a promotion for the premiere of the new three-strip Technicolor process, presenting "the warmth of flesh and blood pulsating with life and color!" There is some light smudging in the first few pages of the interior, bent corners with color transfer, and the covers have some surface wear. The binding is coming loose in between some of the pages. This is a beautiful artifact from the height of the Golden Age of Hollywood, a piece any collector will cherish. Fine/Very Fine.
