DescriptionRiptide (MGM, 1934). Near Mint+. CGC Graded Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
One of MGM's biggest leading ladies during the 1920s and 1930s, Norma Shearer earned herself the reputation of a "free soul" on screen during Hollywood's pre-Code era, a persona that the studio hastily reigned in after the enforcement of the Production Code. This 1934 role was one of the last of Shearer's performances as a "liberated woman," but curtailed some of the plot's most scandal-driven parts with mistaken circumstances and a literally last minute marital reconciliation. This fantastic title card, offered for the first time at Heritage, has been CGC graded as 9.6. Near Mint+.
Estimate: $400 - $800.
