DescriptionRevenge of the Jedi (20th Century Fox, 1982). One Sheet (27" X 41") Dated Style.
The third installment in the Star Wars trilogy was originally titled Revenge of the Jedi, until creator George Lucas realized that revenge was a concept that would be out of character for his chivalric knights. The title was changed to Return of the Jedi, but not before a handful of advance posters were released with the original title. As the only artifact bearing this name, these posters are in high demand by Star Wars collectors worldwide. There were two versions of this poster printed, the dated and undated. This dated style shows occasional slight creasing in the borders and a couple of minute stains in the upper right border. Rolled, Very Fine+.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
