    Description

Revenge of the Jedi (20th Century Fox, 1982). Fine+ on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41") Undated Advance Style. Drew Struzan Artwork.
The third installment in the Star Wars trilogy was originally titled Revenge of the Jedi, until creator George Lucas realized that revenge was a concept that would be out of character for his chivalric knights. The title was changed to Return of the Jedi, but not before a printing of advance posters were released with the original title. As the only artifact bearing this name, these posters are in high demand by Star Wars collectors worldwide. There were two versions of this poster printed, the dated and the much more scarce undated style. This rare undated one sheet has received professional restoration to address slight fold wear, minor fold separations, pinholes, and small tears. There were a few surface scuffs and scratches, some tears, as well as small chips in the interior, including in Darth Vader's image.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
