Rebecca (United Artists, 1940). One Sheet (27.5" X 41").A gorgeous portrait of Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine fills this one sheet from Alfred Hitchcock's classic film. Produced by David O. Selznick, Rebecca is the first American-made film from Hitchcock and would go on to win the Academy Award as Best Picture of the Year and is a favorite among many Hitchcock fans the world over. The borders have been airbrushed to correct tears in the right border, bottom left and right corner chips, small chips in the left and bottom border, and pinholes in the border. Touchup was applied to small chips in the vertical fold and Fontaine's face. The careful restoration has the poster ready to be displayed by one lucky Hitchcock fan. Fine- on Linen.
