    Description

    Rear Window (Paramount, 1954). Three Sheet (41" X 80").
Alfred Hitchcock, who routinely used obsession as a theme in his work, cast James Stewart as a photo-journalist whose job was to look at people through a lens. And now that he was injured with a leg in a cast, Stewart, out of sheer boredom, looks through his binoculars and camera as he spies on his neighbors. What he witnesses stuns him to the core and he enlists the help of his model girlfriend, the gorgeous Grace Kelly, to help him after he becomes convinced one of those he has been peering at has committed murder. This masterful film is an exercise in paranoia, suspense and obsession, accentuated by Stewart's magnificent performance. This three sheet poster has an incredible design and has always been popular amongst collectors. Prior to restoration, the poster had pinholes in the borders and background with a tear in the background. Minor touch-up work has been done to the folds. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
