DescriptionPsycho (Paramount, 1960). Very Fine+ on Linen. Six Sheet (79" X 81).
Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho tells the story of Norman Bates' fractured mind, and the jagged edges in the design of this colorful six sheet help emphasize the tension and terror of the film. The film's biggest star at the time, Janet Leigh, is featured prominently as John Gavin and Vera Miles look on near her, with Anthony Perkins hovering above and fearing what he is compelled to do. This wonderful six sheet is being offered here for the first time in over six years. Restoration has addressed slight edge and fold wear, pinholes, a few small tears and fold separations, and a bit of surface paper loss in the credits area. The poster also had some minor tape stains as well as a couple in ink stamps in the credits area. Still visible are just some light smudges.
Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
