    Description

Psycho (Paramount, 1960). Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14"). Few films have changed film grammar quite as dramatically as this Alfred Hitchcock masterpiece. These lobby cards lay out exactly how Hitchcock achieved such great audience response -- the sense of fear is palpable from the first card, Janet Leigh's uneasy look present even in her lover's embrace. This dread reaches its apex in the third card, in one of the film's most iconic images: Anthony Perkins stands at the entrance of the house on the hill, where "Mother" lives. The cards have been remarkably well-maintained and mostly free of use, aside from a slight bend in the very bottom right-hand corner of most of the cards. The first card in the set does have minor water marks along part of the bottom edge, but the marks are barely visible. Very Fine/Near Mint.
