DescriptionPsycho (Paramount, 1960). Fine/Very Fine. Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14").
Always a popular collectible, a complete set of lobby cards from the original release of Psycho is an irresistible find for Alfred Hitchcock fans. In a clever move by Hitch, he bought the rights from the original novelist, Robert Bloch, for $9,000 and then attempted to buy up as many copies of the book as possible in order to keep the ending a secret. General wear among the lobby cards includes light edge wear, slight corner bends, and faint toning. Several of the cards have some foxing. Card #5 has a few tape stains at the edges and an ink stamp in the upper border and the #3 card has speckled staining into the interior.
Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
